Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School says families start by creating a Ravenna account and submitting the Shared Applicant Information Form; for the 2026-27 cycle, the standard deadline was February 1, 2026, and as of March 26, 2026, HIES says that deadline has passed, though late applications may still be considered with a bypass code if space remains. (hies.org) Most remaining materials were due by February 15, 2026 and vary by grade, but generally include parent/student questionnaires, teacher and counselor recommendations or evaluations, transcripts/report cards, and a required admission evaluation or interview. (hies.org) Testing and eligibility also depend on grade: K-5 applicants submit JATP results, grades 6-12 submit SSAT results (HIES code 3970, with January 31, 2026 as the final admissible SSAT date), and early childhood/Kindergarten applicants must meet age cutoffs by September 1, 2026. (hies.org) For the regular cycle, admission decisions were scheduled for April 4, 2026 and family responses were due April 14, 2026; HIES says it reviews late applications on a rolling basis after April 14 if openings become available. (hies.org) HIES says some qualified applicants are placed on an unranked waitlist that expires on the first day of school, and after identifying qualified candidates, the school attempts to offer places first to siblings of current students and children of alumni, although those groups are not guaranteed admission.
