Admissions

Updated 6mo ago

Heritage says families should usually begin by requesting information or scheduling a campus tour, then submit the formal application through Ravenna. (heritageprep.org) For the admissions calendar currently posted on the Apply page, applications opened October 1, 2025; most regular applications were due February 1, 2026; supplemental materials were due February 17, 2026; decisions were scheduled for April 4, 2026; and parent responses were due April 14, 2026, while PreK also had an early-notification option with a January 1, 2026 application deadline and February 4, 2026 decision date. (heritageprep.org) Requirements vary by grade, but generally include the application with parent questionnaire/shared applicant form and fee, a pastor recommendation, teacher recommendations after December 1, an on-site assessment or shadow day, and an invited parent interview; Kindergarten through Grade 5 also require JATP testing, Grades 6-12 require the SSAT, Grades 1-8 require transcript release forms, and families applying for Grades 10-12 are told to contact admissions before applying. (heritageprep.org) The admissions pages also emphasize that Heritage seeks to partner with like-minded Christian parents and describes the school as a fit for families who value rigorous academics, Christian faith formation, and character development. (heritageprep.org) I did not find a published waitlist policy or any explicit admissions-priority categories on the website pages reviewed; the site does publish financial-assistance deadlines separately through FACTS, but not waitlist or preference rules.
