Saint Simon the Apostle School asks new families to apply electronically through its online application, then pay a $25 family application fee (via Faith Direct) and email required documents to the admissions team for the application to be considered complete. Required/typical documentation includes a birth certificate, immunization records, a baptismal certificate if applicable, and (for grades 1–7) recent report cards and any available test results; the school may also request additional records such as IEP/504 documentation and will contact a child’s current school for records. Key dates shown for the 2026–2027 cycle include Open House on November 13, 2025 (6:00 PM) and November 14, 2025 (9:00 AM), applications opening November 15, 2025 (with the school also stating the window closes December 31), admissions decisions communicated by the end of January 2026, a required Kindergarten/1st Grade readiness assessment on March 13, 2026, and a new-parent “Royal Welcome” event in April 2026. If a grade is full, submitting an application (with required documentation) is used to be added to the waitlist; students not selected are automatically waitlisted, and openings are offered in the same priority order as the school’s admissions policy, with the waitlist resetting each school year. Priority categories (highest to lowest) include current students first, then Catholic children of participating parishioners (especially siblings of current students and children of alumni), followed by Catholic children of non-participating parishioners (with sibling/alumni considerations), and then non-Catholic children of non-participating parishioners; parish membership/registration date can be a deciding factor when space is limited.
