Eagle Elementary (Zionsville Community Schools) enrollment is handled at the district level: families register via the ZCS “New Students/Kindergarten” enrollment pathways and must live within ZCS district boundaries, with school assignment determined by the student’s home address. (zcs.k12.in.us) Requirements include proof of residency (utility bills and/or housing documents), the child’s birth certificate/passport, and immunization records (and older students may be asked for prior academic records). (zcs.k12.in.us) For kindergarten, eligibility includes being age 5 by August 1, 2026. (zcs.k12.in.us) For Universal Preschool at Eagle (PK3/PK4), children must meet age cutoffs (3 or 4 by August 1, 2026), be fully potty trained, and families must reside in the district; the 2026–2027 process includes an Intent to Enroll deadline of December 31, 2025, then January enrollment windows, with priority given first to ZCS staff and returning families and remaining seats filled by a lottery held Tuesday, January 27, 2026 (notifications by Friday, January 30). (zcs.k12.in.us) If a child is not selected in the preschool lottery, they are automatically placed on a waitlist (not a guarantee of placement), and families who receive a reservation must complete additional PowerSchool steps in March (pre-registration) and May (final registration).
