Rocky Mountain Prep Berkeley is a Denver Public Schools charter campus serving grades ECE–5 through 5, and admissions are handled through DPS SchoolChoice rather than an RMP-only application. (rmp.org) Families apply online by submitting a DPS SchoolChoice application (ranking schools), and for the 2026–27 year DPS lists Round 1 as Dec. 2, 2025 (10 a.m.) through Jan. 20, 2026 (4 p.m.), with placement results shared in late February. (rmp.org) If your student is offered a seat, you must accept/confirm promptly and then complete DPS Online Registration through the Parent Portal and provide required health/address/demographic information as part of registration/onboarding. (rmp.org) If you are not initially matched, DPS uses waitlists; during Round 2, applicants are waitlisted while the school processes applications, seats are offered as space opens (typically with a 72-hour window to accept), and waitlist positions can move based on other applicants’ priorities; K–12 waitlists generally remain active through September. (academics.dpsk12.org) DPS processes offers within school admission priority categories; commonly referenced priority factors include DPS-district residency (district residents prioritized over non-residents), siblings of currently enrolled students, children of full-time employees, and (where applicable) living in the school boundary or enrollment zone. Our STEAM program at RMP Berkeley has evolved! We now offer before and after school programming for Berkeley families! Each day, scholars will have opportunity to receive homework assistance and engage in age appropriate, hands-on, STEAM projects. While we enjoy outside play, the focus of our program is to develop critical and necessary skills in collaboration, innovative ideation and problem solving, analytical reasoning, and idea presentation by expanding on concepts learned in school as well as introducing them to new content!
