Pine Tree Elementary does not list a separate school-level admissions application; families enroll through Avon Community School Corporation’s new-student online registration after confirming their assigned school using the Neighborhood List, School Boundaries Map, or the Versatrans bus-routing tool. (avon-schools.org) To apply, complete the online registration (the district notes it takes about 20 minutes) and upload required documentation: birth certificate, parent/legal guardian ID, two proofs of residency, prior school contact information, and emergency contacts; legal guardians must also provide custody documentation, and enrollment is not final until required residency/custody paperwork is complete. (avon-schools.org) After submission for grades K–8, the student’s building registrar verifies the registration and sends a welcome email (or requests any missing documents). (avon-schools.org) Key dates shown online include that registration for the current 2025–26 school year is open, and the district’s published window for new K–12 students for the upcoming year begins Monday, March 2, 2026; for kindergarten, the district states students must be age 5 by August 1 to enroll. (avon-schools.org) The district emphasizes boundary-based enrollment (students have the right to attend school in the boundary where the parent/guardian resides) and requires two acceptable proofs of residency; it does not describe a waitlist/lottery or additional priority categories beyond residency/boundary assignment on these pages.
