Admissions

Updated 7mo ago

Families apply by completing St. Christopher School’s online Registration Application (the site currently posts an application for the 2025–2026 school year) and submitting a $50 registration fee per student to the school office. Required materials include the child’s birth certificate, immunization/shot records, a completed Home Language Survey, and (if Catholic) a baptismal certificate. Age requirements noted on the site are: Pre‑K students must be 4 by August 1, and kindergarten students must be 5 by August 1; grades 1–6 are considered based on proof of successful completion of the previous grade. If space is limited, admissions are offered by priority categories (including current students; Catholic children of participating parishioners—especially siblings of current students or graduates; then additional categories such as children of employees of other Catholic parishes/schools, other Catholic applicants, and finally non‑Catholic applicants), with priority within some groups based on parish registration date and others based on application date. Students not selected are automatically placed on a waitlist for that school year (not carried forward), and for Indiana Choice Scholarship situations the school notes a lottery process with a March 31 deadline to enter and a public lottery held on the second Monday in April.
