Admissions

Updated 6mo ago

Johnson Ferry Christian Academy says applications for the 2026–2027 school year are open, and families apply online by submitting student information, three recommendations (academic, spiritual, and an additional adult reference), plus uploads such as a recent photo, the student’s latest standardized test scores, the most recent report card or homeschool course summary, and a high school transcript if applicable. (jfca.org) After the file and references are reviewed, both parents and the applying student attend a family interview; admissions decisions are made once the application is complete, including any required testing, and accepted families must finish the enrollment packet within 10 days with a birth certificate, immunization record, insurance card, and the nonrefundable registration fee. (jfca.org) Key published dates are: enrollment for the upcoming year opens in November, Early Admissions applications are due by January 1 with decisions by March 1, Regular Admissions by March 1 with decisions by May 1, and Final Admissions by July 1 with decisions processed within three weeks after the family interview. (jfca.org) Requirements include at least one parent affirming JFCA’s Statement of Faith, both parents acknowledging the school’s Christian instructional standards in the online process, grade-level readiness and prior successful completion of the previous grade, and possible incoming assessments if recent testing is unavailable; kindergarten applicants complete an in-person evaluation, and eighth-grade applicants may need a pre-Algebra readiness assessment. (jfca.org) I did not find any published waitlist policy or applicant priority categories on the admissions page, application page, FAQ, or admissions policy PDF, so those appear not to be publicly specified on JFCA’s website.
