Holy Cross Lutheran School asks families to start by requesting information (and optionally scheduling a tour/shadow day), then apply online through the FACTS/RENWeb portal by creating an account and submitting the application with a non‑refundable $25 fee; the school may also interview families and review records from the child’s previous school as part of admissions. (hcindy.school) Applications typically open in mid‑January for the upcoming fall; for the 2026–27 school year, the application opened the afternoon of January 20, 2026. (hcindy.school) Placement/eligibility is based on the child’s age as of September 1 (including Indiana’s rule that a child must turn 5 by September 1 to enroll in kindergarten), and the school does not allow early entry for preschool through 1st grade; some early-childhood programs also require students to be potty trained. (hcindy.school) If a class is full, the student is placed in a “waiting pool,” and families are contacted if space becomes available. (hcindy.school) Enrollment priority is given first to returning families, followed by new applicants.
