Sycamore Elementary enrollment is handled through Avon Schools’ district New Student online registration: first confirm your address is assigned to Sycamore using the neighborhood list or school boundaries map, then complete the online form and upload required documents (the district says it typically takes ~20 minutes), after which the Sycamore building registrar emails to confirm or request missing items. (avon-schools.org) For the upcoming year, the district says new K-12 student registration begins Monday, March 2, 2026 (and kindergarten “class of 2039” registration also opens March 2), while returning-student registration begins Monday, April 6, 2026 at 4:00 pm. (avon-schools.org) The district lists required items including a birth certificate, parent/legal guardian ID, two proofs of residency, prior school information, and emergency contacts; it also notes only a parent/legal guardian may enroll and enrollment is not final until residency (and custody/guardianship paperwork if applicable) is complete. (avon-schools.org) Proof of residency requires two original documents from the district’s approved list (e.g., utility bill/bank statement dated within 30 days) plus a copy of a picture ID, and the district ties attendance to residing within the school boundary. (avon-schools.org) The district pages reviewed do not describe a waitlist or any priority categories for Sycamore beyond residing in the assigned attendance boundary. (avon-schools.org)
