Admissions

Updated 7mo ago

Pleasant View Elementary enrolls students through Zionsville Community Schools: families start by completing the online PowerSchool pre-registration (Kindergarten Pre-Registration or New Students Pre-Registration) linked from the PVE and ZCS “New Students” pages, then complete district enrollment when prompted. Enrollment is boundary-based—your child must reside within ZCS district boundaries and school assignment is determined by property address (the district lists a Residency Specialist for questions). Required documents include proof of residency (two current utility bills, or one utility bill plus a signed lease/purchase/closing/builder letter), a state-issued birth certificate or passport, and immunization records; for older students the district also requests recent academic records if available. For kindergarten, eligibility is age 5 by August 1, 2026, and the district’s kindergarten page lists the first day of school as August 4, 2026 (it also references a Kindergarten Round-Up date of March 24, 2025). The pages reviewed do not describe an admissions waitlist or any priority/lottery categories for Pleasant View beyond noting that Kindergarten Round-Up sign-up slots can fill quickly.
