Teaching Approach

Updated 8mo ago

New Hope Academy describes a whole-child approach that combines academic excellence with personal attention, emphasizing character-building alongside creativity and social-emotional growth. As an international and inter-faith school, it aims to cultivate curiosity, character, and confidence, preparing students to become compassionate leaders in a global world while incorporating shared values common to major religions and encouraging appreciation of diverse faith expressions.

Admissions

Families begin by registering for a guided tour/parent orientation with the principal. After the tour, you apply online and submit a Release of Records, a copy of the child’s birth certificate, and a $150 non‑refundable application fee (plus required testing/records); the school requests full academic/behavior records and teacher recommendations (including Math and English recommendations for grades 6–12), and applicants with IEP/504 plans are expected to submit those documents with supporting diagnostic reports/recommended accommodations. Once the application and fees are in, the registrar schedules a morning observation (Preschool) or a shadow/testing day (K–12) and, for older students, may include an interview; the admissions team reviews observations/testing/records and admits students only if they are academically, emotionally, and socially prepared, with placement decisions that may include tutoring or repeating a grade and an initial probationary period. The website lists application deadlines as Round 1 (Priority) on February 27, 2026 and Round 2 (Final) on March 27, 2026, and accepted families must pay a non‑refundable Academic Commitment Fee and complete enrollment forms and tuition-payment setup to secure the seat. New Hope Academy notes classes are generally capped (often closing at 21 students and considering class makeup), but it does not publish a formal waitlist procedure or specific admissions preference/priority categories beyond having a stated “priority deadline.”
