Admissions

Carey Ridge Elementary (Westfield Washington Schools) uses the district’s New Student Registration process for families new to WWS and/or children entering kindergarten; online registration is currently open and is completed via the district’s online New Student Registration form. (wws.k12.in.us) To enroll, families complete the online form, upload required residency/identity and student documents (ID with in-district address, proof of residence, utility bill, birth certificate, and immunization records; plus custody/IEP/504/ILP paperwork if applicable), and can contact the Carey Ridge registration support contact for help. (wws.k12.in.us) Kindergarten eligibility includes having a legal residence in WWS and being age 5 on or before August 1 for the enrolling year; incoming kindergarteners must also complete a required readiness screening (sign-ups and dates vary by school) and a “Getting to Know Your Child” form. (wws.k12.in.us) The district states there is no hard deadline and no competition for seats—there are no waitlists—though registering early is encouraged for planning. (wws.k12.in.us) No admissions priority categories are described beyond residing in the district/assigned boundary school and meeting kindergarten age requirements (families are directed to use the interactive boundary map to confirm the assigned school).
