Harris Elementary (GCSC) directs families to complete online kindergarten enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year through the district’s PowerSchool enrollment link, uploading a digital/photo copy of the child’s birth certificate and immunization records. After submitting the online form, families are told to watch for an email to schedule an in-person Kindergarten Round Up time slot; for Harris Elementary, Round Up is listed for Monday, April 6, 3–6 pm and Wednesday, April 8, 3–6 pm (dates shown on the district page for this enrollment cycle). At the onsite registration, required items include the birth certificate, immunization record, and two proofs of residency (one from items like driver’s license/lease/mortgage/deed plus one from items like pay stub/tax return/utility bill/vehicle registration/other approved document). If a family lives outside the district, the district indicates they must also submit an Out-of-District Transfer request (the district transfer page lists a July 15 deadline) in addition to completing online enrollment; the public pages reviewed do not describe a waitlist process or additional priority categories beyond being in-district/assigned by attendance area versus out-of-district transfer. The district also notes an Early Entrance option for children who turn 5 after August 1 but before September 2, with an application due by June 1 and a review/trial process if approved.
