Glenelg Country School asks families to begin by submitting an online Inquiry Form, after which they provide login access to the myGCS parent portal where you can track your child’s admissions checklist and register for visit events (e.g., Discovery Days). (glenelg.org) Applications are submitted through myGCS (with a $75 fee) and typically include sending student records, confidential teacher recommendations, parent/student questionnaires, and an electronic signature agreement. (glenelg.org) Assessment/testing requirements vary by grade (e.g., play sessions and Brigance for early childhood, school-administered testing or MAP score submission for some elementary grades, and ISEE/SSAT/PSAT options for grades 6–11). (glenelg.org) For priority consideration, the school states applications are due by December 15 and remaining items are due by January 31 for a mid-February decision; they continue rolling admissions until a class is full, and late applicants may be considered for available spots or their “waitpool.” (glenelg.org) The admissions pages reviewed do not publicly list specific applicant priority/preference categories (e.g., sibling/alumni) beyond the stated “priority consideration” timeline.
