Fishers Elementary (Hamilton Southeastern Schools) enrolls resident students through the district’s online enrollment process in Skyward, starting by using your home address in the district’s boundary map to confirm your assigned (“home”) school. Families must gather required documents before applying, including a state-issued birth certificate, parent/guardian photo ID, proof of guardianship/custody (if applicable), three proofs of residency, and current immunization records. New families request a temporary Skyward account via the New Student Account Request Form, then complete and submit the multi-step online enrollment application; existing families add students through Skyward Family Access, and the district notes there is no strict enrollment deadline (students can enroll throughout the year), though earlier is encouraged. Key dates/requirements highlighted on the site include: kindergarten enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year opens January 20, 2026; kindergarteners must be age 5 on or before August 1, 2026; and early-entrance applications for kindergarten/first grade open February 1, 2026 and close August 1, 2026 (with required readiness assessment/interview). The FES enrollment page also notes HSE Preschool has limited spots and lists a 2026–2027 preschool enrollment window of February 13–20; for families outside district boundaries, admissions require a non-resident transfer application (open February 27, 2026, with priority consideration if complete by April 17, 2026), with capacity-based decisions, a waitlist when seats are filled, and an additional employee-student transfer pathway that provides priority consideration if submitted by January 30, 2026.
