Families begin by submitting an inquiry on AIS’s website, then create a myAIS/Veracross Admissions Portal account to complete the application and upload documents; AIS also lists a non-refundable $100 application fee per student. (aischool.org) Required items on the public admissions pages include teacher evaluation forms and transcripts sent from the current school, plus a required applicant screening/visit for all grade levels; AIS also publishes age cutoffs for ELC/Primary applicants, notes possible academic/language prerequisites for some Primary openings, and says Secondary applicants may submit SSAT/TOEFL/SAT results but they are not required. (aischool.org) For the 2026-27 cycle, AIS’s public pages show registration opening October 1, 2025, a regular application deadline of January 31, 2026, screening dates on February 13, 14, and 21, 2026, a financial-aid deadline of March 1, 2026, decisions released on April 4, 2026, and a parent response deadline of April 14, 2026; the ELC also lists an early-decision deadline of December 15 with decisions on February 4, 2026. (aischool.org) AIS says it also considers year-round rolling applications for available spaces, especially for families coming from outside the U.S., so some admissions can continue on a space-available basis beyond the main cycle. (aischool.org) On waitlists and priority categories, the public admissions pages I reviewed do not describe a formal waitlist process or publish explicit priority groups such as sibling, alumni, or faculty preference, so those details do not appear to be publicly posted on the website. AIS's after-school program starts right after classes end and offers a caring environment and activities to students in grades 3K through Grade 5 until 6:00PM daily. All children in the program have a snack and can enjoy the playground, garden, arts and crafts, and inside activities or quiet time for homework.
