St. Thomas Aquinas School asks families to apply by submitting an Application for Admission & Student Questionnaire (available as an online application or via forms from the school office) and sending completed materials to the school office for enrollment. Key timing includes re-enrollment for current families beginning in February (with a non-refundable Registration/Book/Technology Fee per child) and open enrollment for new families beginning January 1; preschool and kindergarten eligibility is based on being age 3 or 5, respectively, on or before August 1 of the enrolling school year. Requirements vary by grade but generally include the application, a birth certificate (and age verification for preschool), a current physical exam when entering school for the first time, and complete immunization records; transfer applicants may also need prior school records/transcripts, recommendations, and a shadow/visit day, and the school may request placement testing. The school notes it frequently has waiting lists, and admission is prioritized for (1) children of registered parishioners who already have children enrolled, (2) non-parishioners with siblings enrolled, (3) parishioners with a first child starting (with waiting lists considering length of time in the parish), then (4) non-parishioners with no siblings as space allows; pastor/principal discretion applies. All students are expected to participate in religion classes/services and attend weekly Mass.
