Cumberland Road Elementary (Hamilton Southeastern Schools) enrolls students primarily by residence: families use the district enrollment steps (start by confirming your assigned/home school using the boundary map for your address). (cre.hseschools.org) To apply, gather required documentation (state-issued birth certificate, parent/guardian photo ID, custody/guardianship documents if applicable, three proofs of residency, and current immunization records) and be prepared to upload them during the online application. (cre.hseschools.org) New families request a temporary Skyward account and then complete the online enrollment; existing families add a new student via Skyward Family Access (“New Student Online Enrollment”), and while there is no strict enrollment deadline, enrolling early is encouraged. (cre.hseschools.org) Key dates/age rules highlighted include: kindergarten enrollment opening January 20 for the 2026-2027 school year; standard kindergarten eligibility is age 5 by August 1, 2026; and early-entrance applications for kindergarten/first grade run February 1, 2026 through August 1, 2026 (with early-entrance eligibility rules described on the enrollment page). (cre.hseschools.org) For families outside district boundaries, admission to Cumberland Road would be via the district’s non-resident transfer process (capacity-based): applications for priority consideration are due April 17, 2026, with notification by May 8 for applications submitted February 27–April 17, then rolling first-come review after April 17 (accepted until January 15, 2027), subject to eligibility requirements and parent-provided transportation. (hseschools.org) If non-resident capacity is full, applicants are placed on a waitlist; additionally, students of eligible HSE employees (resident or non-resident) can request placement under the employee transfer policy (priority deadline January 30, 2026; notification on or before February 27, 2026).
