Admissions

Updated 6mo ago

Marist says families apply through Ravenna by creating or updating a student profile, connecting to Marist, and submitting the preliminary application and fee; its main entry grades are 7th grade (about 150 accepted) and 9th grade (about 50 accepted), while 8th, 10th, and 11th grade admission depends on space. (marist.com) Required items include student and parent questionnaires, SSAT scores, a transcript request sent through the current school, evaluations from a school administrator or counselor plus current Language Arts and Math teachers, and a Parish/Church Verification Form completed through the family’s place of worship. (marist.com) For the 2026-2027 cycle, Marist lists these key dates: application available in late September 2025, SSAT testing from October 2025 to January 2026, preliminary application deadline January 26, 2026, supplemental materials due February 2, 2026, optional tuition-assistance deadline February 17, 2026, decisions on April 4, 2026, and parent reply deadline April 14, 2026. (marist.com) Marist says it uses a holistic review that weighs academics, character, and mission alignment, and it also states that admissions decisions are made independently of a family’s ability to pay. (marist.com) On priority categories, the site says Marist gives preference to alumni families and makes every effort to accept siblings, while also saying many students come from families with no prior Marist connection; I did not find any official Marist webpage describing a formal waitlist process or published waitlist order. After-School Care

Updated 6mo ago

No dedicated after-school care program was clearly listed on Marist School's website. The closest relevant item I found was on the Admissions FAQ page: "after-school tutorial to begin homework before activities."
