Admissions

Updated 7mo ago

St. Michael Catholic School says registration is conducted in the early spring, with current school families given the first opportunity to register for the next school year before registration opens to the parish community and then others. (school-stmichaelsgrfld.org) To apply, families request a Registration Packet from the school office (or via the site’s contact form) and submit a completed packet for each student along with a non-refundable family registration fee; registrations are dated when received. (school-stmichaelsgrfld.org) The registration fee is deducted from tuition, and the school states that all other fees are due by May 31. (school-stmichaelsgrfld.org) Seats are filled by priority categories (and then by the date received): returning students, current school families with new students, parish families with new students, and non-parish families with new students. (school-stmichaelsgrfld.org) The website does not describe a formal waitlist process; however, because submissions are “dated when received” and seats are filled by the listed priority order, later submissions would likely be next in line if a class is full, and the Pre-K program notes children must be age 3 by August 1.
