Teaching Approach

Updated 6mo ago

Eaton Academy describes its teaching approach as a customized, student-centered model designed around each learner’s individual needs, learning styles, and goals. It emphasizes small class sizes, multisensory instruction, technology, and varied curricular resources so students can succeed in either accelerated or more remedial settings while also building independence and life skills.

Admissions

Updated 6mo ago

Eaton Academy says it uses a personalized, open-enrollment admissions process, and families for all programs except Distance Learning begin by creating a FACTS/Admissions Online account, submitting an online application, and then tracking admissions status and supplemental forms in the portal; the school also invites families to request information or schedule a visit. (eatonacademy.org) Eaton’s public forms pages and handbook point applicants to the Parent/Student Handbook and other downloadable forms, reference transcript/request-for-records materials for Distance Learning, and tell parents to submit student recommendation, immunization, and request-for-records forms to the appropriate administrator; the handbook also says Eaton uses the AAAIS Common Teacher Recommendation form. (eatonacademy.org) For timing, the website does not publish a separate admissions deadline or decision-release calendar and instead says admissions are open enrollment; the posted 2025-26 K-12 calendar lists August 15, 2025 for new-student start/orientation and August 18, 2025 for classes in session for all group-program students. (eatonacademy.org) Published admissions-related fees show a $250 application fee for K-8, High School, ISP, Distance Learning, Virtual Academy, and LEAP, and K-8/High School tuition is listed at the lower rate when paid in full by July 1. (eatonacademy.org) I did not find any public Eaton Academy page that explains a waitlist process or identifies admissions priority categories, so those do not appear to be publicly posted on the school site.
