Lovett’s admissions process runs through Ravenna, where families create a profile, register for all admission events, submit the application, and later receive decisions; the school says it welcomes applications at all grade levels, naturally expands most at kindergarten and grades 5, 6, and 9, and is not accepting 1st-grade applications for 2026-27. (lovett.org) Key published dates for the 2025-26 cycle are: tours begin September 24, 2025; the application opens October 1, 2025; the application deadline is February 1, 2026; supporting materials are due February 15, 2026; financial aid for new families is due March 1, 2026; decisions release April 4, 2026; and responses are due April 14, 2026. (lovett.org) For Lower School, Lovett requires the Ravenna application, a parent questionnaire, JATP testing or a recent psychoeducational evaluation, report cards/transcripts, teacher evaluation(s) after December 1, a Lovett observation in January-February, and attendance at at least one Discover Lovett session. (lovett.org) For Middle School, required items include parent and student questionnaires, SSAT or ISEE scores, transcripts/report cards, counselor and teacher evaluations, Mission Lovett, and one Discover Lovett session; for Upper School, the school similarly requires parent and student questionnaires, testing (SSAT, ISEE, or PSAT), transcripts/report cards, counselor and teacher evaluations, an interview/assessment, and one Discover Lovett session. (lovett.org) I did not find a published waitlist policy or explicit sibling/legacy priority categories on the Lovett admissions pages reviewed; the only clearly named special pathway was for students referred through A Better Chance, and the site notes the school’s main entry grades are kindergarten, 5th, 6th, and 9th.
