Admissions

PS/MS 108 Philip J. Abinanti’s website does not publish school-specific admissions steps; NYC Public Schools generally manages admissions through MySchools (and/or your zoned school/Family Welcome Center for enrollment help). (publicschool108.net) For 3-K and Pre-K for fall 2026, families can apply online in MySchools, by phone, or in person at a Family Welcome Center; the application opened January 14, 2026 and closes February 27, 2026, with offer release on May 12, 2026 (Pre-K) and May 19, 2026 (3-K). (schools.nyc.gov) For kindergarten for fall 2026 (children born in 2021), the application opened December 9, 2025 and closed January 23, 2026 (already past as of February 8, 2026), and offers are scheduled to be released March 31, 2026; NYC residents are guaranteed a public kindergarten seat. (schools.nyc.gov) For middle school entry (grade 6) for fall 2026, the application opened October 15, 2025 and closed December 12, 2025, with offers scheduled for April 15, 2026; families who missed the deadline are directed to get help from their current school and/or a Family Welcome Center. (schools.nyc.gov) After you receive an offer (or when enrolling/transferring outside the main application process), registration typically requires proof of the student’s age, immunization records (if available), most recent report card/transcript (if available), and two proofs of address (such as lease/mortgage plus a utility/water bill). (enrollmentsupport.schools.nyc) If a program is full, you may be able to join a MySchools waitlist; waitlist order and offers follow the program’s admissions method and priority groups (commonly zone, sibling, district, and/or continuing students), and then use random numbers or timestamp rules within priority groups.
