South Lakewood Elementary (Jeffco) directs families to enroll/apply using the district’s EnrollJeffco online system, whether you are enrolling in your neighborhood (attendance-area) school or requesting choice enrollment, and students can apply to up to three schools. (southlakewood.jeffcopublicschools.org) For the 2026–27 school year, Round 1 ran December 2, 2025–January 9, 2026, with results sent January 20, 2026; Round 2 opened January 15, 2026 and closes August 28, 2026. (southlakewood.jeffcopublicschools.org) After results are released, schools can continue making offers as space becomes available; offer/waitlist updates are communicated by email/text, and families have three days to accept an offer. (jeffcopublicschools.org) After accepting an offer (or confirming a seat at the projected school), new students must upload required documentation in EnrollJeffco (guardian photo ID, student identity document, immunization records, and proof of address) and then complete household registration via the link provided. (jeffcopublicschools.org) If a grade is full, Jeffco’s choice-enrollment priorities generally start with (for kindergarten) Jeffco residents with an enrolled sibling, then children of full-time staff at the school, then Jeffco residents already attending the school as preschoolers, then other Jeffco residents (followed by comparable nonresident categories); for grades 1–12 the list is similar but includes a priority for Jeffco residents attending a designated “feeder” neighborhood school.
