Admissions

Updated 7mo ago

Eagle Elementary admissions are handled through Brownsburg Community School Corporation (BCSC) enrollment, which is completed online (not at the school building). Enrollment for kindergarten, preschool, and new students for the 2026–2027 school year opens March 2, 2026, and enrollment is not considered complete until the online forms are finished and required documentation is provided to the registrar (uploaded electronically or delivered in person). Requirements include a birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residency in the Brownsburg school district (e.g., current utility bill/lease/closing paperwork—driver’s license is not accepted), custody papers if applicable, and completed enrollment forms. After the application is processed, families are notified of school placement; the district aims to assign students to their home school but can place students elsewhere to balance class sizes and program needs, and kindergarteners must be age 5 on or before August 1 and complete a readiness assessment. No general waitlist/priority categories are described for in-district elementary enrollment, but out-of-district enrollment is limited and space-based (board-approved), and families can submit an out-of-district interest form to be notified if/when applications open (typically for one week in the summer), with no guarantee of acceptance.
