Admissions

Families apply online through MiaPrep Online High School’s initial application, ideally after taking its optional Is MOHS Right For Your Child quiz; the application asks for parent/guardian and student information, current and completed courses, other learning needs, and whether the family will request tuition assistance. (miaprep.com) After the initial application, MOHS says staff send next-step enrollment instructions; on its published example timeline, a Sept. 25 Part 1 submission was reviewed Sept. 26, the Final Application (Part 2) plus enrollment fee was due Sept. 30, approval was sent Oct. 1, onboarding happened the following week, and the student started Monday, Oct. 13. (miaprep.com) MOHS accepts students entering grades 7–12, with minimum ages of 10 for grades 7–8 and 12 for grades 9–12; students begin on Mondays with an onboarding course and required Launchpad sessions, and the school says it follows a traditional August-to-May school year even though students may continue through summer or breaks. (miaprep.com) Transfer students are welcome, but MOHS says incoming students can receive credit only after documentation, transcript review, and/or placement tests as needed; it also states a maximum of 18 transfer credits, and incoming seniors must complete at least 6 MOHS credits and be enrolled for at least 9 months to graduate from MOHS. (miaprep.com) I did not find any published waitlist policy or priority admission categories on the official MOHS admissions and FAQ pages I reviewed. (miaprep.com)
