Teaching Approach

Updated 8mo ago

Brito Miami Private School emphasizes a strong, holistic education that develops students’ intellectual growth alongside moral and democratic values, helping them fulfill their potential as individuals and as members of the community. The school expects active collaboration among students, teachers, and parents/guardians to prepare youth for dialogue, solidarity, and community service. It also supports diverse learning needs (including students with exceptionalities) and encourages complementary educational, artistic, athletic, and creative activities alongside theoretical and practical curriculum.

Admissions

Updated 8mo ago

Brito Miami Private School directs new families to contact the Admissions/Registrar (Ms. Gomez-Hidalgo) to request admissions information, fees/requirements, and to schedule a campus tour, then begin a New Student Application (with a separate pathway for F-1/I-20 students). Applicants are asked to submit an application with supporting documentation such as transcripts, a current report card, and a Student Assessment Form, with additional documents potentially requested as needed. For readmission, existing students “in good standing” are instructed to complete a Registration Form, submit it with any financial-aid documentation and applicable registration fees per the school’s Registration Letter, and also submit the signed Parent-Student Handbook agreement. The school states it will provide a final decision within 30 days after receiving payment and all required documentation. The website does not describe a waitlist process or specific annual application deadlines, and it does not list formal priority categories beyond differentiating readmission for existing students in good standing (and noting it serves residents, non-residents, and F-1 visa applicants).

After-School Care

Updated 8mo ago

Available
There is an additional fee for this care and students may enroll by contacting the administration. Extra charges will be incurred if students are not picked by the scheduled closing time.

After care is an extra service for the parents of elementary students. This service will alleviate the burden of rushing to pick up their child/children for dismissal. During this time, our students are supervised and are able to play, socialize and snack.
