Pace Academy says families begin by creating a Ravenna account to inquire, register for visits, and apply; tours are offered from October to early February, and its main entry grades are Pre-First, 6, and 9, while other grades depend on attrition. (paceacademy.org) For the 2026-2027 cycle, the school’s calendar listed the application opening on October 1, 2025, the application deadline on February 1, 2026, and all supplemental materials due on February 15, 2026. (paceacademy.org) Requirements vary by division: Lower School asks for JATP testing, teacher evaluations, a Pace observation, a family statement, and in some grades report cards and a principal/counselor evaluation; Middle School requires SSAT scores, a report card, math and English teacher evaluations, a principal/counselor evaluation, a student interview, and a family statement; Upper School requires those same items plus a student essay. (paceacademy.org) On waitlist/timing, Pace says it usually fills all available spots by early April using applicants who met the February 1 deadline, but it still accepts late applications through Ravenna in case an unexpected opening appears in late spring or summer; for some younger Pre-First applicants, Pace may also issue a “Wait-A-Year” decision instead of admission. (paceacademy.org) For priority categories, the admissions pages reviewed do not publish clear preference groups such as sibling or legacy preference; the only explicit priority I found is that tour scheduling prioritizes families applying for the upcoming school year, and A Better Chance applicants follow a separate application route. Knight Crew, our everyday after-school program, focuses on “letting kids be kids” in a safe, supervised and fun environment. The program strives to extend the same character-building opportunities and inclusive environment found in our Lower School classrooms to after-school activities.
