Teaching Approach

Updated 5w ago

Lenape High School describes an approach centered on an inclusive school community that develops lifelong learners and socially responsible citizens, while supporting each student’s personal path to success through a quality educational environment. Its broader instructional model emphasizes maximizing instructional time, reducing course conflicts, and creating opportunities for character and community building.

Admissions

Updated 5w ago

Lenape High School is not presented as a selective-admissions public school; LRHSD assigns students by residence, and its attendance-area page says Mount Laurel Township residents attend Lenape, while Medford and Medford Lakes residents attend Shawnee. (lrhsd.org) To enroll at Lenape, a parent/guardian contacts the Lenape registrar, then receives directions to complete LRHSD’s online student enrollment; students entering LRHSD must register at their home school even if they will attend an out-of-district placement. (lrhsd.org) Required materials include the student’s original/certified birth certificate, custody documents if applicable, four proofs of residency, the most recent report card/transcript/withdrawal form, medical/immunization records and physical-exam documentation for transfers from outside LRHSD, and special education/IEP information if applicable. (lrhsd.org) I found no posted Lenape admissions application deadline, admissions test, lottery, or waitlist; for 2026-2027, the district calendar listed Freshman/New Student Orientation on August 25, 2026 and the first day of classes on August 31, 2026. (lrhsd.org) Priority is therefore based on residence/home-school assignment, with a separate Small School Option allowing Evesham and Mount Laurel students to attend Seneca only after first registering at Cherokee or Lenape as their home school.
