Teaching Approach

Updated 2mo ago

Cherry Hills Christian describes a Christ-centered, biblically grounded approach in which faith and learning are integrated across every subject, with students encouraged to think biblically, live faithfully, and lead courageously. Academically, the school emphasizes rigorous instruction, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, curiosity, personalized support, and development of each student’s God-given gifts.

Admissions

Updated 2mo ago

Cherry Hills Christian’s site says prospective families may schedule a tour first, then apply online by creating an account and a new student application; the application can be saved/tracked online, and the non-refundable application fee is $105 for Preschool or $180 for Grades K-8. (cherryhillschristian.org) In addition to the online application, the school says applicants should provide a statement of faith, report cards, and standardized assessment results; after a completed application is reviewed, the school may invite the student for an assessment and then may invite the family for an in-person interview, but those invitations are not guaranteed. (cherryhillschristian.org) Key timing posted for the 2026-2027 cycle includes K-8 applications opening on Dec. 1, with new applications evaluated throughout the year; tour times are listed as Preschool Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m., Lower/Middle School Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m., and Middle School Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. (cherryhillschristian.org) I did not find a current general admissions waitlist policy on the admissions pages; the only waitlist detail found was in an older 2022-2023 handbook, which says a three-year-old preschool child not fully potty-trained by the August school start may have the spot held briefly or be placed at the top of the waitlist until fully potty-trained. (cherryhillschristian.org) I also did not find published admissions priority categories; the only priority category found is for K-8 tuition assistance, where returning families have highest priority and new families must have completed the admissions application, and the school states it does not discriminate in admissions based on race, color, national origin, or ethnic origin.
