Academy 360 is a tuition-free public charter school, and families apply through Denver Public Schools (DPS) SchoolChoice by submitting one online SchoolChoice application per student and ranking Academy 360 among their choices. (academy-360.org) For the 2026–27 school year, DPS Round 1 opens Dec. 2, 2025 (10 a.m.) and closes Jan. 20, 2026 (4 p.m.); Academy 360 notes Round 1 closes Jan. 20, 2026 at 4 p.m. and families are notified of Round 1 placement results in late February. (dpsk12.org) Current Academy 360 students do not need to submit a new SchoolChoice application, but once accepted families must complete DPS online registration in the Parent Portal each year (by the primary guardian on the student’s record). (academy-360.org) If the school is full, students are added to a waitlist in date/time order within their priority group; DPS also processes Round 2 applications first-come/first-served within admission priorities and may offer seats as space opens. (academy-360.org) Requirements noted for early childhood include meeting age cutoffs (ECE-3: age 3 by Oct. 1; ECE-4: age 4 by Oct. 1) and following DPS steps for Colorado UPK funding support after applying; Academy 360 does not publish its specific priority categories, but DPS SchoolChoice priority groups commonly include items such as sibling priority, proximity/zone or closing-school priorities, children of full-time employees, and district-resident vs non-district-resident tiers.
