Teaching Approach

Updated 3mo ago

Ave Maria Catholic School describes its approach as educating the whole child—spiritually, morally, intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally—through solid Catholic teaching, challenging academics, and strong community involvement. It says faith is woven into daily learning, teachers tailor instruction to how each child learns, and students are encouraged to grow through hands-on, meaningful learning that builds character, independence, and a love of learning. Admissions

Updated 3mo ago

For the 2026-2027 school year, Ave Maria Catholic School says enrollment is open, and families begin by submitting an Inquiry Form; the school then contacts them to schedule a Discovery Tour and, if they want to move forward, sends a link to the online application. (avemaria.school) Applicants must then provide the required materials listed by the school: a Baptismal Certificate or Blue Baptismal Form, any IEP/504/diagnostic testing results, the most recent report card for grades 1-8, two teacher recommendation letters, one administration recommendation letter, and a Release of Records so the prior school can send official records. (avemaria.school) After the application and documents are submitted, AMCS schedules a Shadow Day and Assessment, and the school says families are notified of an enrollment decision after review of the completed file, shadow visit, and assessment; optional additional information may also be submitted to support the application. (avemaria.school) On key dates, the admissions page only clearly states that enrollment for 2026-2027 is open; I did not find published application deadlines, decision dates, or a described waitlist process on the admissions pages reviewed. (avemaria.school) For priority, AMCS states that preference in admissions is given to members of the sponsoring Catholic parishes, while non-Catholic students from Parker and surrounding communities are also welcome; the policy also says families are expected to support the school’s Catholic mission, with students participating in religious activities and families being active in a parish or faith congregation of their choice.
