Rocky Mountain Prep Ruby Hill (K–5) enrollment is completed through Denver Public Schools (DPS) SchoolChoice: families create/log into their DPS account, then rank Ruby Hill among their choices (RMP notes Round 1 for 2026–27 ran Dec 2, 2025 (10 a.m.)–Jan 20, 2026 (4 p.m.)). (rmp.org) After Round 1 closes, DPS runs matching/lottery and families receive a school match plus any waitlist placements in late February; if you missed Round 1, DPS reported Round 2 for 2026–27 opens March 10, 2026 (10 a.m.). (schoolchoice.dpsk12.org) Students not initially offered seats are placed on waitlists; in Round 2, applications are processed first-come/first-served within the school’s admission priorities, and if a seat becomes available families are offered the seat and generally have 72 hours to accept (waitlist positions can move as others accept/decline and as priority groups are applied). (academics.dpsk12.org) Once you accept an offer, families complete registration/onboarding and submit required documentation (RMP’s guidance for DPS families includes proof of address and proof of age for new-to-DPS students, and RMP also notes submitting required forms/documents such as health/address/demographic information). (sites.google.com) Priority categories are governed by DPS SchoolChoice rules and the school’s specific priority list (often including things like siblings and/or children of employees plus DPS/Denver residents prioritized over non-residents), but Ruby Hill’s exact priority order was not visible on RMP’s public Ruby Hill page and may need to be confirmed via DPS School Finder or by calling the school.
