Teaching Approach

Updated 7mo ago

Fusion Academy Palo Alto emphasizes a highly personalized, student-centered model built around 1-to-1 instruction, where each class pairs one student with one teacher and moves at the student’s pace. The campus presents this approach as designed to support students with learning, social, or emotional differences while combining individualized academics with social-emotional support, flexible scheduling, daily feedback, and opportunities for community through clubs, events, and the Homework Café. Admissions

Updated 7mo ago

Fusion Academy Palo Alto tells families to start by requesting information through the campus page or submitting Fusion’s online application; after that, an admissions team member contacts the family, and the stated process includes an initial admissions conversation, optional tour, and a meeting with the Head of School to see whether Fusion is the right fit. (fusionacademy.com) If both sides agree it is a fit, Fusion says the family receives customized academic, social, and emotional recommendations, begins registration, and then works with the Director of Student Services to build the student’s schedule and determine a start date. (fusionacademy.com) Published requirements are limited: the application form asks for parent contact details, location of interest, student name, grade, and enrollment type, and Fusion says that for full-time transfers its registrar reviews official transcripts and other educational documents to build a compliant plan. (fusionacademy.com) For key dates, I did not find a traditional admissions deadline; Fusion’s Palo Alto tuition page says the school has open enrollment and students can start any time of year, even during summer, while the current Palo Alto 2025-2026 calendar lists August 18, 2025 as the first day of school and June 12, 2026 as graduation. (fusionacademy.com) I did not find any publicly posted waitlist policy or admissions priority categories for Fusion Academy Palo Alto on the campus, admissions, application, tuition, or transfer pages I reviewed.
