Girls Global Academy PCS participates in the My School DC (MSDC) common lottery; all new students must apply through My School DC to receive a lottery match or an official admissions offer from the school’s waitlist (including via post-lottery applications). (girlsglobalacademy.org) For school year 2026–27, My School DC lists the Grades 9–12 application deadline as February 2, 2026 (applications after that date are treated as post-lottery), and lottery results plus waitlist positions are available in families’ My School DC accounts on March 27, 2026. (apply.myschooldc.dc.gov) The school’s published priority (lottery preference) categories are, in order: Children of Staff, Sibling Attending, and Sibling Offered. (myschooldc.org) If your student receives an offer, enrollment is completed directly with the school and requires the enrolling parent/guardian (the person who will submit proof of DC residency) to complete required registration steps; GGA also notes that transcripts, the most recent progress/report cards, and (if applicable) IEP/504 plans are required to finalize enrollment. (girlsglobalacademy.org) Students transferring in 11th grade must have 13 credits (including 2 each in English, math, social studies, and science), and the school notes that waitlist offers made after the main enrollment deadline follow the specified acceptance deadline in the offer. GGA’s handbook describes after-school time as related to dismissal and student activities (not a listed paid after-care service): “Students leave between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm.” It also notes: “If students are staying for tutoring or clubs, they must be in the cafeteria by 3:45 pm.” and “Students who have sports practice or club meetings must go directly to their designated location and be in place by 3:45 pm.” Separately, GGA’s FAQ says it will offer after-school activities (examples listed): “robotics, dance, self-defense, creative writing.”
