Arvada K-8’s school website was unavailable when checked, and Jeffco Public Schools states the Board voted on October 12, 2023 to close Arvada K-8 at the end of the 2023–24 school year, so it is not accepting new admissions. () Students who lived in the former Arvada K-8 boundary are designated to attend Lawrence Elementary (K–5) and North Arvada Middle School (6–8) starting in the 2024–25 school year, or may apply to other Jeffco schools through EnrollJeffco choice enrollment. (jeffcopublicschools.org) For Jeffco enrollment generally, families apply in EnrollJeffco (Round 1 for 2026–27 ran December 2, 2025–January 9, 2026; Round 2 runs January 15–August 28, 2026) and accept offers within three days. (jeffcopublicschools.org) New-student documentation is uploaded in EnrollJeffco and includes parent/guardian photo ID, proof of the student’s identity, immunization records, and proof of address; the district’s choice-enrollment regulation also lists birth certificate and proof of residency for students new to Jeffco. (jeffcopublicschools.org) If space is not available, applicants are placed on a grade-level waitlist (first round ordered by priority group and lottery number; second round added first-come/first-served) that remains active through October 1 of the enrollment year. (go.boarddocs.com) Priority categories begin with Jefferson County residents with a sibling already projected to be enrolled at the school, then resident staff children, resident feeder-school students, other residents, followed by the same four categories for non-residents.
