Boone Meadow Elementary (Zionsville Community Schools) enrolls students based on residence: families must live within ZCS district boundaries (Eagle or Union Township), and school assignment is determined by the student’s property address; ZCS does not accept out-of-district tuition. (zcs.k12.in.us) New K–4 students apply through ZCS’s online “New Students/Kindergarten” PowerSchool enrollment and submit documents for verification: proof of residency (two utility bills, or one utility bill plus a signed lease/purchase/closing/builder letter), a state-issued birth certificate or passport, and immunization records. (zcs.k12.in.us) For kindergarten, the child must be age 5 by August 1, 2026; after PowerSchool pre-registration, families are directed to sign up for Kindergarten Round-Up (listed as Tuesday, March 24, 2025) and later prompted to complete full district enrollment (first day of school is listed as August 4, 2026). (zcs.k12.in.us) For ZCS Universal Preschool (offered at ZCS elementary locations such as Boone Meadow), enrollment is capacity-limited: open positions are filled first by ZCS staff and returning families, then remaining seats are awarded by lottery, with key dates including an Intent to Enroll deadline of December 31, 2025, January enrollment windows, a lottery on Tuesday, January 27, and notification by Friday, January 30. (zcs.k12.in.us) Universal Preschool includes a waitlist for families not selected (noted in both the FAQ and the 2026–27 enrollment document), while ZCS does not describe a general waitlist or priority categories for standard K–4 admission beyond residency-based school assignment.
