Teaching Approach

Updated 7mo ago

Mid-Peninsula Education Center describes a student-centered, college-prep approach built around learning, growth, and confidence rather than competition or pressure. It emphasizes small classes, strong teacher relationships, and daily advisory-style support through its Core program, while tailoring instruction with compassionate, evidence-based, and flexible methods so neurodiverse and other learners can thrive in ways that fit how they learn best. Admissions

Updated 7mo ago

Mid-Peninsula High School asks families to start by creating a Ravenna account, which it uses as the main admissions portal for event registration, forms, application submission, and tracking application progress. (mid-pen.org) Applicants are encouraged to visit first through one of the school’s fall open houses or by arranging a campus tour or student shadow day with admissions. (mid-pen.org) For the 2025–26 cycle, the application deadline is Thursday, January 8, 2026; the school also says it admits students each fall and accepts transfer students throughout the year. (mid-pen.org) The publicly listed requirements include submitting the online Ravenna application, paying a $100 application fee (with waivers available on request), and, if seeking flexible tuition, submitting the Parent Financial Statement by January 8, 2026 and supporting 2023 and 2024 tax documents by February 13, 2026; separated or divorced parents must each file their own PFS and documents. (mid-pen.org) I did not find any public admissions page on Mid-Pen’s website that describes a waitlist process or priority categories such as sibling or employee preference. (mid-pen.org)
