Admissions

Updated 2w ago

For Buford High School (grades 9–12), families living in the Buford City Schools zone register online, upload proof of residency and required identity and health documents, and then receive next-step instructions from the school registrar. (bufordcityschools.org) Non-residents need district acceptance before registering; for 2026–27, tuition applications were accepted only for incoming ninth graders, from January 7 through January 30, 2026, and that window is now closed. (bufordcityschools.org) The ninth-grade tuition application required report cards, standardized test scores, a discipline report, applicable support-plan documents, and a $250 nonrefundable online fee; the school then scheduled an interview and reviewed the completed application. (bufordcityschools.org) Accepted non-resident students pay annual tuition and must maintain the district’s academic, attendance, behavior, and parental-support standards. (bufordcityschools.org) The district does not publish a waitlist procedure or additional priority categories on these admissions pages; it says applications submitted within the tuition window are not prioritized by arrival order.
