Monon Trail Elementary (Westfield Washington Schools) uses the district’s online New Student Registration for students new to the district and for incoming kindergarteners; families should use the interactive boundary map to confirm Monon Trail is the assigned school, then submit the online form. (wws.k12.in.us) After applying, families must provide required documents (e.g., parent/guardian Indiana ID with in-district address, proof of residency such as a lease/deed and a current utility bill, the student’s birth certificate, and immunization records; custody/guardianship and IEP/ILP/504 documents if applicable), preferably by uploading during registration, with backups like email or bringing documents to the school; the Monon Trail registration support contact listed is Tiffany Schumann. (wws.k12.in.us) For kindergarten specifically, the district states a child with a legal residence in WWS who is age 5 on or before August 1 may enroll, and all incoming kindergarteners must complete a ~20-minute readiness screening scheduled via the school-specific sign-up link and complete a “Getting to Know Your Child” form; SafeVisitor background checks are requested for school visitors/volunteers and may take up to 10 days to process. (wws.k12.in.us) Key dates are largely “as soon as possible” (the district notes online registration is open and that welcome events/some steps may be TBA), and there is no hard registration deadline; optional childcare programs note enrollment opening March 2 at 6 a.m. (summer programs) and May 6 at 6 a.m. (before/after care for new families). (wws.k12.in.us) Westfield Washington Schools explicitly states there is no competition, no waitlists, and therefore no admissions priority categories beyond being eligible (new to district/entering kindergarten) and residing within the district/boundary assignment.
