Granville Wells Elementary (Western Boone Community Schools) directs families to enroll online through Harmony Family Access: create/enter your account, choose “I need to enroll a new student,” select Granville Wells, submit the enrollment form, then call the school office so staff can approve it and issue a Registration Code to complete registration in the portal. (weboschools.org) For the 2025–2026 preschool/kindergarten intake, the site states preschool eligibility is age 4 by August 1, 2025 and kindergarten eligibility is age 5 by August 1, 2025; the preschool packet also lists a deposit due May 23, 2025, with registration/payment setup in July and a “mid- to late-July” registration email. (weboschools.org) Required paperwork is described as including birth certificate, immunization records (with updated immunizations before kindergarten), proof of residency (or a non-resident transfer request), and—if applicable—custody/court documents, medical information, and records/transcripts from a previous school. (weboschools.org) Non-resident admissions are described as space/staffing/capacity-dependent; the district policy states transfer requests should be submitted to the principal before September 1 (or by January 15 for a 2nd-semester start) and families generally provide transportation. (weboschools.org) The policy does not describe a waitlist; instead, if eligible non-resident applicants exceed capacity, it calls for a publicly verifiable random selection process at a public school board meeting, with priority/consideration given to resident space needs, current transfer students, siblings of transfer students, and employees’ children (and employee transfer requests accepted before other transfer requests).
