Little Forest School

Little Forest School says enrollment for the 2026–27 school year is open, and families apply by submitting the online application, then scheduling a family tour; the school requires meeting all children before acceptance. (littleforestatl.com) After the tour, families finalize enrollment by paying the application fee/invoice, which confirms a place either in class or on the waitlist; the site says an applicant will not be considered for a spot until that payment is made. (littleforestatl.com) The main published admissions date is January 31: currently enrolled and previous families get priority enrollment, current families had until January 31 to say whether they would continue, and the school says it begins the broader acceptance process after that; for the youngest class, it says new openings arise each year so acceptance can begin right away. (littleforestatl.com) Published eligibility requirements are age-based: the school enrolls ages 3–10, with Rainbows for ages 3–5 and Forest Friends for ages 4–10; four-year-olds in Forest Friends should be ready for a more academic environment and may enroll half-day only until they turn 5. (littleforestatl.com) I did not find a separate posted lottery, essay, testing requirement, or standalone application deadline on the website beyond the open-enrollment notice and the January 31 priority/continuation date.
